Well, the vines are waking up from their hibernation and beginning to burst their buds!
We love spring, especially warm and dry ones! The spring weather has a huge impact on what the vintage will be like, especially cropping loads and vine balance. The last ten weeks of the growing season (February and March) will determine the flavour and acid balance of the grapes/wines.
The big one is the Peninsula Vine Hop festival on the 18th and 19th of November. This is the first time the festival is being run and it should be a great weekend to explore the best beverages on the Peninsula!
